Curve Black is more of a traditional masculine scent and a perfect choice for after sunset. This cologne definitely delivers in terms of its exceptional notes, long-lasting performance and reasonable price.
With smooth Vetiver, Coriander and Green Tea notes. This post may have affiliate links, meaning we earn a small commission on purchases through the links at no extra cost to you. This does not change our opinion but does help support the site. Thank you! A few seconds of really fake smelling citrus leading to a dark green smell, sort of like basil, but mostly and intentionally synthetic "herb-ish" smell mixed with an intentionally synthetic "wood-ish" smell sitting next to the smell of swimming pool chlorine.
I understand that this is inexpensive and it's significantly better than I thought it would be, but it's still not particularly good. Given the budget for a discounted bottle of Curve, I'd much rather go with a drugstore staple like Brut or Aqua Velva. Or just save up a few dollars more and go for a truly artful, well done cheapie like Encre Noire. Spicemeister Show all reviews by Spicemeister. It's very simple--it smells good, the quality is good, it's a safe bet, it has no rough edges, and they say lots of women love it on men.
Some fragrances are good for their uniqueness, but others--like Curve--are good for having fun, for not taking life so seriously. It's not pretentious; it's a fragrance for the common man, a modern man.
I mainly experience a fruity and light musky scent. The fruit seems tropical, which may explain some of its appeal. I may also smell a few light woodsy notes and the barest hint of spice. It doesn't matter that I can't make out many individual notes. What matters is that the overall effect is pleasing--it works--and it doesn't require you to think too much about it. It lasts at least six to eight hours on me, and it projects well.
JugtownHero Show all reviews by JugtownHero. I keep hearing this is for young men. I am 50 years old and love this cologne. I wear this and Cool Water like crazy and I get compliments on both of them. When I run low I buy more and more of it. If I live to be 70 years old I will still be wearing it. Purchased as a blind buy when I found a gift set with a reduced price and deemed it worth a gamble.
Though a bit greener than Eternity, it's even more synthetic smelling as it's got a faint fabric softener smell to it that I quite disliked even though I love the smell of freshly-laundered clothes.
Clean but bland yet cloying in its lack of personality. It is definitely as boring as its inspiration and I dislike it just as much. I scrubbed it off immediately and exchanged it for a different juice. Unless you want to smell inoffensive and utterly unremarkable, it is definitely not a bargain at any price as there are other very affordable fragrances out there that are much better. Even straight-up soap or most random aquatics have more purpose than this Clean and green, never obscene.
A young man's fragrance for sure - not a boastful, shirtless selfie bozo, but a quieter chap with good grades and a summer job. A modest price, innoffensive, fun around women, and not too "cologney" - thumbs up. Ersjr Show all reviews by Ersjr I actually enjoy this fragrance. It is green and clean a receives a ton of compliments. I have been wearing this scent for years and is a truly a great scent for spring and summer. The price of this makes it a must try for anyone looking for a solid well balanced fragrance.
BHildebrand85 Show all reviews by BHildebrand I really enjoy this fragrance. Let me specify, as an everyday, wearable scent this can go a long way. For longevity it must be built up correctly. I can easily say as a young teen this fragrance sparked my interest in fragrances in general. Over ten years later and while I can bet I would still get compliments if worn out.
I have outgrown this for sometimes more subtle, pure fragrances that highlight specific characteristic notes. A young guys cologne, stress on "guy" and not "men" but if I had nothing else it would be used. My own humble opinion. Middle of the middle of the road Not sure what I was expecting but this is about as mainstream and safe a fragrance as you can get.
Smells like a freshly laundered and ironed shirt. Women love it but it really is very boring and detergent smelling. Pros: women love itCons: mundane. Possum-Pie Show all reviews by Possum-Pie. Top Review I am speechless, this scent here I have sought a felt eternity. To be exact 15 years! I finally found him!!! The first time I smelled this scent was when I was 8 or 9 years old. I just thought to myself "what a nice smell it is, I want to smell it when I'm tall". I have not forgotten this unique scent, it has burned itself into my brain, so incredibly good he smelled.
