OceansAnon Thanks for posting this thread - I love Demeter! Those were my first fragrances from Demeter back in the 90's and I recently repurchased them - They smell like you are actually standing in someone's backyard in the middle of summer right after a rain when everything is fresh and strong.
I will say that my husband hates these scents because they smell like you are actually standing in someone's backyard in the middle of summer He prefers flowery, sweet scents on me.
Peach was disappointing because I was expecting a stronger, juicier peach vibe - I think Jo Malone's Nectarine Blossom and Honey is way better! I was also disappointed in Sandalwood because it is much spicier than I expected - I guess I'm used to it being combined with vanilla or something sweet. The Zombie collection is very unique! I don't actually wear them, but they smell pretty cool - while I was taking the picture above, one of my dogs started sniffing around Zombie Dog because it contains notes of bacon!!!!
The cool thing about Demeter is that you can buy little. They did an awesome job of capturing these fragrances, but I don't think I'd buy the full sized bottles - lol! OceansAnon Good luck! I'm always on the hunt for a good peach perfume - My all time absolute favorite scent is The Body Shop Fuzzy Peach - Wore it all through high school, but it's been discontinued for several years now and I'm still searching for a dupe! Awww wish they brought back fuzzy peaches! Not sure if Emozione is the best dupe lol. It doesn't smell very sweet and is slightly floral when I spray it on clothes. I don't spray perfume on myself and only on my clothing lol.
OceansAnon I discovered Demeter back in the 90s when Sephora sold the brand! I love single note scents. I keep meaning to buy at least some of the samples from Demeter. I would start with lilac, hibiscus, lily of the valley. Ciuld you purchase some of the samples from Demeter? Good luck! Chocolate scents can be fun!
