Where is the orifice tube on a 2002 suburban

Chick - I have the same problem with a Suburban with rear air and I cannot make the orifice tube insert into the evap line all the way. AND the screen will not fit into the condenser line. I cannot get it to go into the line without shaving off part of the tube white end. Can you help?? Many times the evaporator core gets debris in it that interferes with the insertion of the orfice tube.
